Trump’s plan to cut NASA’s budget might mean astronauts will have to start pinching pennies, perhaps bringing packed lunches to space or even crowdfunding for the next mission to Mars. Perhaps the “America First” vision will soon apply to space too, where only US flags are allowed to be planted on every discovered planet, while other nations’ flags are deemed space “immigrants.” Let’s just hope this doesn’t mean Elon Musk has to launch even more rockets than anticipated to fill the void.
